I'm Getting So Big!

Sam is definitely developing his personality and his sense of humor. His laugh is so hilarious- it's hard not to try to get him going! He's super ticklish and he'll make funny noises and faces to make us laugh too...and like his Momma, he's very easily amused. When any wind hits his face, he sticks out his tongue, and when you blow air at him he laughs hysterically. He is also discovering his tooth- he bit himself on the finger a couple of times this afternoon and was NOT amused. It's something new every day!!!

Still working

Sam is working on another tooth...still working. He's mostly back on track with day-care after a couple of days away while AJ (daycare mom's son) was sick on Monday and Tuesday. He got to stay home with Daddy on Monday and Momma on Tuesday- Daddy didn't take any pictures though. We also got to visit with little Jayvid on Tuesday evening- he is one day older than Sam, so it's interesting to compare notes. He may look smaller because his head is smaller, but his body is actually the same if not bigger than Sam's. It was super cute to watch them interact- rolling and crawling over one another and trying to take toys from eachother. Jayvid is one tooth ahead of Sam and eating many more different foods. Sam is expanding a bit there- he's just not super interested yet. He is eating mashed peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, applesauce, bananas, avocado (he wasn't sure about that...) and most recently carrots. Lot's of fun!!! He had bananas everywhere tonight- including in his hair...

Easter Fun!

Big weekend!

BIG news for the weekend- creeping/crawling and finally a tooth!!! On Friday evening I set some blocks up for Sam and he surprised us by creeping/side-crawling a couple of feet towards them! It's still more efficient for him to roll where he wants to go, but it's fun to have a new method of locomotion!!! Then Saturday morning he was really fussy, so I gave him some Tylenol and tried a trick a friend at work had told me- tap on the gums with a spoon...and sure enough I heard a little tap-tap-tapperoo from his gum and later that morning we could see the tooth!!! Very exciting stuff! We also had some exciting poo news, but you can e'mail me if you want to hear about that...I realize not everyone is as excited about these things as I am! Hoping you all had a great weekend. Sam's months of hard work were worth it- now we hope it's not that hard or takes that long for the rest of those teefers! See new videos below...

Sam's big adventures...

Sam got to come to work with Momma on Friday (daycare needed a half day)- no pictures, but he did awesome (sorry Andrea)! First he charmed all the "Grandma's and Grandpa's" and then he had a snack and a nap so Momma could get some work done! At one point he sat on the floor on a blanket in my office (for about a half hour) and a nurse walked by, came back and was astonished- she thought he was an actual DOLL sitting on my floor...SUCH a good boy!

He's been getting around the house more lately too, exploring all corners of the living room by rolling around.
