Delayed Entry

I'm a little behind here. Cousin Cari sent a little care package for Sam the day before the Packer's game with all sorts of cute little outfits (Thanks Cari!) and it's a good thing he wore almost all of them, as the season ended...My boys looked so dejected! Sam has been working on his sitting up and is doing quite well. He also had his six (and a half...) month appointment on Friday and we have new numbers! He measured in at 27 inches long and 18.8 pounds (75th percentile for both) and his head continues to be large, but he has it on both sides of the family for that! Otherwise he is very healthy and continues to charm everyone when I take him in!

Babies!!!

We just LOVE babies! Cousin Andrea's son arrived on the 17th measuring in at 6lbs 9oz, 20 1/2in long and both baby and mom are healthy and doing well. Congratulations to Andrea and Bert and the Onans (first Grandbaby)!

Time for more pictures.

Seems like everyday he's changing and developing his personality! He got to meet my cousin Leslie who was in town for her new nephew Wyatt (Andrea & Bert- pictures to follow with permission of course!) so she and boyfriend Jim swung over to meet a cranky, teething baby- he still managed to charm a little though!
P.S. STILL NO TEETH!

Hi!

Our big boy has discovered that he can indeed roll back off of his stomach when he gets there (seems to have forgotten how the last couple of months and would just get mad on his tummy) and is rolling up a storm in our living room- time to baby-proof!

More feeding fun!

Imagine how many posts we'll do when he's eating actual food, not just rice cereal!!! Gramma and Grandpa Bacon were here to visit today, and took us out for Scott's Birthday. Sam was well behaved as usual, and even did us a favor and went FOUR hours between feedings (Sam usually goes about 2'ish hours between feedings) so we could swing by and visit very pregnant cousin Andrea in River Falls. She's on bed-rest now due to complications, so we were glad to be able to visit and break up the time a little!

Yum!

Our big-boy got his first taste of "real food" last night- rice cereal mixed with some breast-milk...yum. He was pretty hilarious, and we were wishing for a third person to be there to take video. I held his hands and the swing while Daddy did the feeding, then we switched.
