Well the nursery is ready, and so are we...we think... Scott and his buddy Matt worked on the basement this afternoon and got the first layer of mud and tape up, will complete later this week. We'll post more pictures when it's painted- it's starting to look like a room though! Junior is kicking me in the side right now...thinks he's pretty funny! That was definitely a foot! I wish you could all see how much he can make my belly move! It's really hard to believe he'll be making his grand entrance soon!!! We hope you're all doing well and staying cool in this heat!

We're Getting there!

Well time is really winding down in the Baby Aho Countdown! Sally's mom visited Saturday morning and we got the changing table organized with all the baby clothes we've received- from showers and Sally's cousin Cari (way to have a boy a few months before us, THANKS!). It looks like we're set for a while! We have a few finishing touches to go, but feel about as ready as we can feel for our first baby. And now we wait... The changing table is an antique dresser from Sally's Grandma that we (Scott) modified. And the bear is Sally's practice diapering... (p.s. That's Remnar by the crib- he's not really sure what to think about all this! And here's proud papa to be on Father's Day!)

Busy Bee!

We had a wedding to attend on Saturday, but before that bought dry-wall for Scott's basement project...he's making two rooms out of one- a spare bedroom and an office. We have some wonderful neighbors that have the HANDIEST tools ever! He had a dry-wall lift which made doing the ceiling a snap! (I can say that, I didn't help!) Here are some pictures of the process- he's so handy!

Sally didn't exactly lounge ALL day (most of it though- this being pregnant is tiring work!), I made brownies and picked some of our beautiful peonies from the back yard. We hope you all had a happy productive weekend as well! -Sally
